Syaz,
My Zuleyka is going to be 1yo in a month's time..and she still prefers Nestle Rice & Soya and original-flavoured rusks ONLY! I lagi lah scratch my head. At least the 3 boyz werent this picky..! I've had so many batches of frozen baby food thrown i.e. blended rice porridge with chicken / fish / tofu / vege only..(cannot give to my baby nephews..they have allergies, ezcema..). I still have a pack of unopened Baby Cubes (from Tiny Tapir or LilDanzell) that I in the end sold to my sister. She will uwek uwek all those other than "her food" and then cry and cryyyyy like we're torturing her

Haiyaaahh every baby is SO different..

Hmm... should I feel guilty? Before my son turned 1, it never troubled my head if my son didn't want to eat. I'd just let him have loads and loads of boob juice hehehe.

He only started to really eat when he turned 1 yo, and at that age he was already joining us eating family meals together. :-)

My son is literally shrinking nowadays.. coz he won't eat / eat much.
His upper arms are not chubby wubby anymore..
Plus that he's crawling and climbing here and there now..

I always hear people saying that babies will tend to lose out the chubby wubby as he turns into a toddler to allow him to move around more actively like walking, running, climbing and all that. I find that really makes sense. So I never really worried . True enough, as said by many mamas, most babies will only start to really eat after they turn 1 yo or so.

But that is for breast babies la. For formula babies I don't know though... So to me, as long as the breast baby is having enough breasts hehe, is healthy and active, then he should be fine, no need to worry so much.

I think we should worry more later when they are no longer toddlers and turn out to be very picky eaters! Eeekkk!!! More stress waiting for me~~~

As baby grow older and move a lot, the chubbiness also will be less..
Ariel's weight drop recently from 10 to 8.8kg...after she started to crawl and climb..

As long as they are healthy , that is the most important...

Ari is now 11 mths.. and he's eating better now.
He ate Salmon for dinner last nite! A lot! Yay Yay!
I was worried last time.. coz he does look like he's shrinking a lot!
And I'm here.. trying to stuff him with food! hahaa :P
Am actually glad that he's eating better now..
But his favourite would always be cheese.
He's never bored with that..
Well.. there's no problem with too much cheese rite?
He takes cheddar, the thin slices kind..
