Picnic at the Bungalow@Damai on Sun 9th August 2009!

Are you sick of hanging out every weekend at Air conditioned shopping malls? Do your kids look like they could use a good day in fresh air & sunshine? Looking for a place they can run around and be entertained by classes while you chill out? Want some fresh BBQ?

Then you need to pen this event into your calender!

We're very lucky with the Bungalow that we use as our HQ and share with the lovely Doodlebug girls. Although it's in the middle of town, we've got lots of bright green space - it's like our own little oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of KL.

And occassionally, we want to share our good fortune with you!

The event is FREE to attend - take advantage of our lovely grass and have a picnic with your family (we'll provide some picnic cloths, or you can bring your own!). You can BYO food if you like, but we will have very reasonably priced drinks and food available too.

Things to eat

We'll have a BBQ man showing off his services where you can buy some fresh BBQ (halal). There will be drinks, ice cream and other assorted food vendors there.

Things to do

fresh cupcake decoration kids can decorate (a small fee for children activities will be charged)
arts and crafts for kids
story telling
muay thai exhibition (did I spell that right?)
demo classes for Jewelry making (adults)
demo classes for Scrapbooking (adults)

Things to learn

Not to mention the FREE talks that Tiny Tapir will host upstairs - here's some who've signed up already (more coming):

12 noon - 1pm : Hypno Birthing Intro Class
12 noon - 1pm : Bento Making ! By Allthingspurple

1pm - 2pm : Nutrition Talk (for adults & kids!) - by Gina our lactation expert
1pm - 2pm : Tiny Tapir - Cloth Diapering and Soft Structured Carrier & Wraps baby carrying

2pm - 3pm : - Baby Signs Demo Class

3pm - 3.30pm : - Mama Patch Babywearing (ring sling)

3.30pm - 4pm : - Mei's Mei Tais Babywearing (mei tai)

4pm - 4.30pm : - Jumpsac Babywearing (ring sling)

4pm - 5pm :- Tiny Tapir DEMO - How to make cloth pads

Scrapbooking - is it by Scrappingglitz? I've been meaning to learn this..even talked to one of the Doodlebug girls about it..

I really have to speed up with whatever that I'm supposed to finish up so I can relax by next weekend and go to this picnic!

Li, did u take this picture yourself or was it from an image bank..? Just curious..because I have the exact same picnic basket which I'm staring at right now..such a coincidence
